Animals in Need

Meet Excel–just one of many area animals your donation will help.

Excel Dog Veterinary Charity

Excel

Excel (affectionately known as Cely)  is an 11 year old mixed breed who was adopted from the shelter as a puppy.  He has been an active dog hiking, swimming, and walking with his owner for the last 11 years.

In 2012 Cely was diagnosed with Diabetes Mellitus.  Cely suffers from all of the same issues that a person with diabetes must deal with.  His Mom understands the serious nature of this disease and is committed to giving Excel the care he needs to live an active quality life with diabetes.
With health issues of her own, Excel’s Mom works three sometimes four jobs to maintain her own expenses as well as provide her fur baby’s needs.  “Excel has been a life saver for me in trying times.  He provides me with so much love and companionship; I must do what I can to insure he lives a happy comfortable life.”
Medical studies prove how having a relationship with your pets, like Excel and his Mom, can improve the health well-being of people.  Alpine Veterinary Care Fund, partnering with American Veterinary Medical Foundation is able to provide assistance in situations like this to owners and insure these important family members receive the care they need. Your donations go a long way in improving the life of pets and their owners.

Beaux

beaux brown lab

Beaux was a rescue out of Colorado. His owner was deployed for 2 years and friends were caring for Beaux while the owner and his family were out of the country. The friends received a mission call for 2 years to another country and weren’t able to find anyone to take care of Beaux so they had no choice but to take him to the shelter.

An East Idaho family adopted Beaux after visiting Colorado to see family. They tell us “Beaux was a wonderful older dog of 12 when we got him. Beaux was a joy to have for the next 14 months that we had him (and he got along with our 3 other dogs and cat really well) before making the heart breaking decision to send him over the Rainbow Bridge. Alpine Veterinary Care Fund worked with us on the cost of caring for an older dog.  They are the best!

I hope that when people are looking for a four legged companion that they give thought to giving a loving home to an older animal to live out their remaining days in comfort and knowing that they are loved!”

Many Pets and Owners in East Idaho Need Our Help.

The Alpine Veterinary Care Fund has been established in association with AVMF (American Veterinary Medical Foundation) to provide local charity to pet owners who’ve encountered financial hardship and cannot afford necessary care for their pets.

AVMF Donate Button Blue Square

Your donation, along with discounted services from Alpine Animal Hospital, helps subsidize professional veterinary medical care for people and pets in difficult circumstances, and helps prevent needless suffering for innocent animals.

Helping  Animals In Need

A primary focus of our mission to is to provide necessary financial support to any animal in need.   Sometimes circumstances and economic hardship cause innocent dogs, cats and other pets unnecessary suffering because they need treatment their owners cannot afford at the moment.   At the Alpine Veterinary Care Fund, we will review applications on a quarterly basis, and award small grants, free services and subsidized animal health care to applicants who demonstrate significant and legitimate need.   Your donations can help with crisis care, sophisticated surgeries, and preventative care that can help animals in need and their owner families.

National Connection,  Local help

The American Veterinary Medication Foundation–a national veterinary charity– is partnering with veterinary practices to create a charitable fund that will help animals in need in the surrounding area.  Local money donated is tax deductible and comes back to help animals in need right here in Bannock County and nearby communities.

The Alpine Veterinary Care Fund is managed in conjunction with the AVMF, a charitable organization aimed at advancing the well being and medical care for animals.   Please feel free to call us at Alpine Animal Hospital with any questions.  208 237-1111.
